Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

We provide professional massage therapy services performed by licensed massage therapists in accordance with applicable state and local laws. Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Swedish massage
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Sports massage
  • Prenatal massage
  • Therapeutic bodywork
  • Craniosacral Therapy

Massage therapy is intended for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only and is not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Client Health Disclosure & Consent

By receiving services, you agree that:

  • You have completed a health intake form and disclosed all relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, and medications.
  • You will inform the therapist of any discomfort during the session so adjustments can be made.
  • You understand that massage therapy may involve physical touch and manipulation of soft tissues.

You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to consult a physician prior to receiving massage therapy if you have any medical conditions or concerns.

3. Professional Boundaries

We maintain a strict professional environment.

  • Any inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to sexual comments, advances, or gestures, will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.
  • Draping will be used at all times to ensure privacy and comfort.

4. Appointment Booking & Cancellation Policy

Scheduling

Appointments may be scheduled by phone, or in person.

Cancellation Policy

  • We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged $60 service fee.
  • No-shows may be charged the full session fee.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for inappropriate conduct or repeated policy violations.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept:

  • Cash
  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Other approved payment methods

Gift certificates and prepaid packages are non-refundable unless required by law.

6. Refund Policy

Massage services that have been rendered are non-refundable. If you are dissatisfied, please notify us within 24 hours so we may address your concerns.

7. Text Message & Electronic Communications Consent (SMS & Marketing)

By providing your mobile phone number and/or email address, you consent to receive communications from  Touch and Heal, including:

A. Appointment-Related Messages

  • Appointment confirmations
  • Appointment reminders
  • Schedule changes
  • Follow-up messages regarding your session

B. Marketing & Promotional Messages

  • Special offers
  • Discounts
  • Promotions
  • Service updates
  • Wellness tips

SMS Terms

  • Message frequency may vary.
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message.
  • After opting out, you will receive one final message confirming your opt-out.

We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy and will protect your personal and health information in accordance with applicable laws. Information collected is used for:

  • Providing services
  • Processing payments
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Sending communications (including SMS if consented)

9. Liability Waiver

By receiving services, you acknowledge and agree:

  • Massage therapy involves certain inherent risks, including temporary soreness or discomfort.
  • You voluntarily assume these risks.
  • You release and hold harmless Touch and Heal and its therapists from liability for any injury or damages, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted in our office and/or on our website with a revised effective date.
